Shish Kebabs

Serves 4 - 6

Ingredients

1 stick MagicMix

1 pound of lamb, chicken or turkey meat cut into 2-inch cubes

1 cup each of onion, red pepper and green pepper cut into 2-inch pieces.

1 teaspoon garlic paste

2 teaspoons ginger paste

2 teaspoons lemon zest

2 teaspoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons olive oil

1 teaspoon coarse salt

2 teaspoons freshly crushed black pepper

3 teaspoons melted butter

Shish Kebabs

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to high.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss meat cubes, red and green pepper pieces, onion pieces, MagicMix, ginger, garlic paste, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and black pepper. Let sit for 2-3 hours.
  3. Assemble the shish kebabs by alternating meat and vegetables on a skewer.
  4. Place skewers on hot, oiled grates and grill them for 3-5 minutes each on both sides. Baste generously with butter, coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  5. Check for doneness, should not take more than 10-12 minutes in total. Once done, transfer kebabs to a plate, garnish with lemon wedges before serving.
