Chicken Wings

Chicken Wings

Serves 4 - 6

Ingredients

1 stick MagicMix

3-4 pounds chicken wings (split, tips discarded)

1 teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2-3 tablespoons honey

½ cup Buffalo wing sauce (available in most grocery stores)

2 tablespoons olive oil for greasing the baking pan and drizzling on wings

Blue Cheese or Sweet Chili dip

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  1. Lightly oil 2 baking pans.
  1. In a large mixing bowl or paper bag, toss the wings, salt and pepper, and then place half the wings on each pan. Do not crowd the chicken pieces. 
  1. Cover and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and reverse the positions of the baking sheets for even cooking. Bake for another 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  1. While the wings are cooking, stir the honey, MagicMix and hot sauce together in a separate bowl.
  1. Remove the pans of wings and baste them generously with MagicMix hot sauce.
  1. Transfer all wings to one pan, return to the oven and continue to roast until the wings look glazed and charred as desired, about 4-6 minutes.

Serve with a small bowl of Blue Cheese dip, sweet chili dip, or any dip of your choice.
