Grilled Corn on the Cob

Serves 4 - 6

Ingredients

1 stick MagicMix 

6-8 ears of corn

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon freshly crushed black pepper

2 teaspoons lemon juice

3 teaspoons melted butter

 

MagicMix butter: Mix melted butter, MagicMix, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.

Grilled Corn on the Cob

Directions

  1. Build a fire or preheat gas grill on medium.
  2. Without removing the corn husks, carefully pull them down to the base of the ear. Remove all silk then replace husks.
  3. Submerge the corn in cold water with 2 teaspoons of salt for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove corn from water and shake off excess.
  5. Place ears on grill set on medium heat, and cover. Grill for 12-15 minutes, turning every 4-5 minutes.
  6. After 15 minutes of grilling, pull back the husks and baste with MagicMix butter. Replace the husks, adjusting if necessary, and grill for another 3-5 minutes or until kernels are tender when pierced with a dinner knife.
